SNOW IN CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA

WELL, WE THOUGHT WE LEFT THE SNOW BACK IN NEW JERSEY/NEW YORK....CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA GOT APPROXIMATELY 3.3 INCHES OF SNOW LAST NIGHT.  IT IS ALMOST ALL GONE NOW THOUGH.  KIDS LOVED IT, AFTER BEING HERE 9 YEARS AND ONLY SEEING ABOUT 10 FLAKES....MOM AND DAD WERE LESS THAN THRILLED.  GLAD TO SEE IT GO.

Charleston South Carolina Weather

When people call me and ask about the summer's here in Charleston South Carolina, I have to be honest.  Honestly, for all of us that live here know, the temperature is not what concerns us, it is the humidity.  That's what makes an 80 degree day feel like 102 degrees. Do we mind?  Nah, we have Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, and Sullivans Island to cool off ......or sip some Sweet Tea someplace where there is Central Air Conditioning!

HOME BUYERS TAX CREDIT INFORMATION

The Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act of 2009 has extended the tax credit of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence. The tax credit now applies to sales occurring on or after January 1, 2009 and on or before April 30, 2010. However, in cases where a binding sales contract is signed by April 30, 2010, a home purchase completed by June 30, 2010 will qualify.

Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade

Mount Pleasnt Christmas Parade will take place on December 14, 2009
More than 100 floats will march down Coleman Boulevard on Sunday, December 14, as the Mount Pleasant Holiday Parade set sails to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. Immediately following the Fireworks and Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM, the parade will begin at 5:45 PM at the intersection of Coleman and Pelzer Drive. It will continue past Shem Creek to conclude at the Sea Island Shopping Center around 7:15 PM.

Relocating to Charleston South Carolina?  Frank and Donna Natale with Weichert Realtors have done it!  We moved from New Jersey in 2001, and have not looked back.  Frank originally grew up in Long Island, New York....so moving to the south was a big change for both of us.  We knew nothing about the area prior to moving, we just knew we wanted a better quality of life and good weather.  Call or e-mail us, with any questions, if your even thinking about moving to the area, we love to talk about it.  Downtown Charleston is like being in a different country, with the historic architecture, restaurants with courtyards, and then to boot, 5 minutes from the ocean.  What more could you ask for?
